    Description

    A great 1940 Texaco Oil & Gasoline advertising
    calendar (15 ½” x 11”)
    with outstanding color graphics. First page for January and February is missing but all others are present – vibrant colors still seen - see photos. Advertising for BAKER’S TEXACO SERVICE of ASHLAND, OHIO.
    Lots of Texaco product advertising – Fire Chief, Sky Chief, Marfax &
    Havoline Insulated Oil. Take a look at the illustrations on all pages (beyond the first the page NO folds tears or holes. The last page (Nov. & Dec.) printed directly on the cardboard back and it does have some folds, creases and tape repaired tears.
    Staples still good. The back also shows some writing (the beginning words of 1 little, 2 little Indians etc. and a child’s drawing of a car. Calendar done by Bigelow Press of St. Paul Minn. Pictures credited to Anton Otto Fischer (2), Zoe Mozert plus another 2 but cannot make out signature.
