ROSENTHAL Laughing Bunny Rabbit 5.5” Germany White Porcelain 1953-56 Green mark

Max Fritz (1873-1948) was a sculptor for the Rosenthal company. His very famous art piece was the Laughing Rabbit.
The markings on the bottom of this Bunny figurine tell the story of its production. It was made in the Rosenthal Manufacture of Selb, a town of Bavaria, Germany. And the green underglaze mark places the time as 1953-56. This information is according to collectrosenthal.com.
So at 70 years old, this laughing bunny is of vintage status. It is 5.5” tall. The white ware porcelain is in perfect condition.
From the estate of a family member, I’m hoping it will find a happy home to be enjoyed and appreciated and will not be ‘recycled’ to an unknown end. It is an amusing decoration or maybe a special gift.
