Authentic USA Isabel Bloom Sculpture - small rabbit looking up, called “BABY BUNNY"- this vintage rabbit has hand-blown, hand-selected for clarity and size, hand-placed in the grout for depth - baby blue art glass eyes and beautiful colors in the finishing work, Mint condition from all angles and was signed before dating started (which was after ‘85) so very old (46-56 years old). May have been made, handled or even signed by Isabel herself. They don’t make Blooms like this anymore, they’ve changed the original mix designed by Isabel 3 times over the years and no longer do glass eyes or rock eyes. Now they do polished porcelain black beads as eyes. Back when this was made a prepared mixture of cement, sand, water, rock, limestone and the distinctive Isabel Bloom pigment were used, then the pigment was slowly and gently rubbed away in key areas to reveal the brown tones underneath, giving it the weathered bronze look Isabel wished to achieve, thanks to inspiration from Victorian Era sculptures she studied abroad.
