    Description

    very nice unrestored 100% original New York license plate. 1953 issue; number 7X 47 79, with 1954 renewal tab. 13 x 6 inches; yellow legend on black background. the plate lies completely straight and flat with just a bit of prison warp, with excellent original paint as seen in the photos.  New York only issued one plate in 1953, so there is no pair available or necessary.  the tab is included with the purchase; it's probably been bolted together since 1954.
    DMV clear as of 6/23/2021.  may be registered on your 1953 or 1954 vehicle for road use.  perfect for your Ford, Chevy, Plymouth, Studebaker, or DeLorean.
